Over the years she had worked in retail jobs in Nipawin, but began working at RBC Royal Bank in September of 2003. She is currently an Account Manager there.

She took the opportunity to join the Board of Directors with the Chamber as a way to give back to a town she has come to love over the years. Nipawin has a lot of heart and potential and she would like to have a chance to be a part of that.

Cindy and her husband Dennis Murphy, along with their children, Brodie, Braun, and Burgess Vatamaniuck moved to an acreage just out of Nipawin in 1999.

After numerous visits to Nipawin and area, they chose to move to the area that they enjoyed being in.

"Nipawin was the perfect community to raise a family," stated Murphy. "All three of our boys have done very well for themselves; through the great education system that Nipawin has to offer. Brodie is now a Journeyman carpenter, Braun is a Journeyman welder; and Burgess, already having completed a policing program, is currently taking his Journeyman's in Locksmithing."

Cindy has now been with the Chamber for 11 years. She finds serving the business community of Nipawin to be very rewarding.

Darcy was born and raised in the area and then raised her two sons , Shay and Calder, in the area as well.

She worked in the K-12 school system as well as the Regional College system for many years and has strong personal ties to the farming community. She returned to school as an adult to obtain my law degree and returned to Nipawin to mentor under Jim Taylor and Ron Saretzky joining the firm in 2009, which became TSN Law shortly afterward.

Their office assists clients in all areas of the law from real estate and corporate commercial to family law, criminal law, civil litigation and wills and estates.  With its roots in agriculture and with an abundance of other resources, Nipawin and area is uniquely positioned to experience exciting and prosperous growth and development in the future.

"From the geography, to the schools and the people", she says, "our area is one to be proud of and I am very excited to serve the business community and participate in the growth of our region."
